HISTORY
For more than 35 years, State Farm has invested in academic programming, student assistance, and cutting-edge research at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). In January 2005, that investment reached a new level with the opening of the State Farm Research Center at the UIUC Research Park.
Creating a facility designed for innovation and inspiration took just four months, but the unique collaboration between State Farm leaders and UIUC faculty has been opening new doors for years.
In 2006, the Research Center facility doubled in size, filling nearly 6,000 square feet with top-notch interns and staff. In 2007, 3,400 square feet was added when the Center for Consumer Feedback opened for business.
So, what’s next for this formidable partnership between prestigious research university and industry leader? Don’t blink. You might miss it.
