What are the important dates and deadlines for the competition?
- Deadline to register for competition - October 2, 2009
- Coding Competition - October 3, 2009; 12 PM - 6 PM CT
- Finalists announced on competition website within 30 days following the competition
- Grand Prize Awards Day - November 6, 2009
Do I need to be present on November 6 for the chance to win the grand prize?
Yes: if you are a finalist invited to State Farm®, you must be present to be considered for the grand prize.
Do I have to be registered to participate?
Yes. Sign up before October 2, 2009, using the "Register" page.
Do I need internet access?
You have to be able to download the problem statement and submit your solution.
How do I submit code?
There is a submission form through which all code must be submitted.
What are the prizes to be given out?
The top 4 teams will each receive $800 (to be split if team consists of 2 individuals). The top 4 teams will be given an all expense paid trip to State Farm® in Bloomington, IL on November 6, 2009 to compete for the $1500 grand prize.
